Booking Terms & Conditions

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and agree to our Terms & Conditions. Management reserves the right to amend or alter prices, sites, and conditions at any time without notice.

Primary Guest

A ‘Primary Guest’ is required for each accommodation type and is responsible for all occupants at the accommodation type. The ‘Primary Guest’ is the person whose name appears on the reservation confirmation and is responsible for understanding our Terms & Condition.  The Primary Guest must provide their credit card for the security bond and is aware any additional costs will be charged to their credit card without notification. On check-in, you may also be required to verify your identity with photographic identification.

Tariffs

All tariffs are subject to change without notice. All rate changes will be applied to existing bookings without prior notice unless the booking is paid for in full at the time of booking.

Accommodation Security Bond

All accommodation reservations must have a valid Visa or MasterCard upon check in.  A pre-authorisation security bond of $300 is required and is refundable on departure following an inspection of the accommodation.  Any additional cleaning charges will be charged at $60 per hour (minimum 1 hour), damages, breakages, theft and/or loss is the responsibility of the primary guest and will be deducted from the bond without notification.  Depending on your bank, it may take up to 3-10 business days for your security bond release.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • NO refunds apply for late cancellations or for amendments to bookings following check-in. This means that if you choose to leave earlier than expected after you have checked in, you are not entitled to a refund.
  • No refunds are given for unused portions of your booking, including early departures for any reason, cancellations where you or your party has arrived at the park or no shows. A no-show is when you do not check-in on the day of your booking. All monies paid are forfeited.
  • Cancellation fee of 1 night applies for if we are not notified within 24 hours of scheduled check in date.

Park reception open every day

  • 8am to 5pm (High Season)
  • 8am to 4pm (Shoulder Season)
  • 8am to 2pm (Low Season)

Park facilities are for the enjoyment of IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY.

Our facilities include a saltwater swimming pool, modern amenities, dump point, guest laundry, camp kitchen, BBQs & outdoor picnic area, book exchange, DVD and games library, drinks & snack shop, gas bottle refills, free wifi

Check In

  • Powered and Unpowered sites – 11am to 7pm
  • Accommodation – 2pm to 7pm
  • Check in closes at 7pm. Please arrive on time to avoid any inconvenience.
  • Full payment is required for all after hours check-ins.

Keys

Keys must be returned to reception or placed in the key drop box at the front of the reception office. Lost, damaged or non-return of keys will incur a $120 replacement fee for lock replacement

Check out

Check out is strictly 10am. Late check outs must be confirmed with reception (fees apply). 

Use of your Villa/ Studio

  • You are required to take care of your villa whilst you occupy it. At the end of your stay you must leave your villa in a reasonable and tidy condition.
  • Dishes, rubbish removal and cleaning cooking debris are not part of our usual housekeeping practices and are the responsibility of the guest/s.
  • Please wash dishes and remove any rubbish and place in the outside bins provided.
  • If you do not leave your accommodation in a reasonably clean and tidy condition, we reserve the right to charge you a cleaning fee or the cost of repatriation. Photos of the room’s condition will be kept on file and can be provided to support this additional cleaning charge.
  • Keys lost or not returned upon check-out will incur a fee of $120 for lock replacement
  • We reserve the right to enter your accommodation, at any reasonable time during your stay, in order to inspect the condition of the accommodation or without notice in the event of emergency.

Room Servicing

  • A complementary starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, breakfast cereal, dish washing liquid, toiletries and toilet paper is provided for your arrival but please note these are not restocked during your stay. Additional items can be purchased at the shopping centre located 300m from Town Caravan Park.
  • Accommodation is not serviced unless specified or arranged in advance with reception staff, additional charges apply.

STRICT NO PARTY POLICY

  • Noise curfew is strictly 9pm. Please be considerate to your neighbours by restricting noise from radios, televisions, and social gatherings after 9pm
  • Noisy, offensive or inappropriate behaviour or actions likely to cause harm to any other guest, members of our staff or anyone’s property at park will not be tolerated. 
  • We reserve the right to terminate your occupancy immediately for excessive noise, drunkenness, offensive language, damage or nuisance behaviour.  In the event of eviction all monies will be forfeited

Site Number / Room Number

Whilst we do our best to accommodate a preferred site or room number, these are not guaranteed.  Management reserves the right to relocate or change the site number and/or accommodation number after booking. 

Occupancy Charges and Limits

  • A site charge is based on 2 people, with a maximum of 4 adults (extra charges apply) per site & a maximum of 1 car and/or van/motorhome per site.
  • Additional guests that have not been included in the booking will incur further charges and/or the requirement for additional sites and accommodation.
  • All vehicles & equipment must be contained within your site.
  • Our caravan park has sites of varying lengths that cater to vans of varying lengths. You will be allocated to a site based on the overall length of your caravan, including drawbar. Providing an inaccurate length may result in being unable to fit into the site you have been allocated
  • We are unable to accommodate vans over 8m (including drawbar)

Extra Persons

  • The number of guests on a site or in accommodation must not exceed the number declared at the time of booking.
  • All sites & accommodation have a maximum occupancy to ensure the comfort & safety of all guests.
  • Our Ensuite Studios and 1BR Villas are certified for two guests, our 2BR Villas are certified for four guests and our Family Studios are certified for up to 5 guests. We allow one infant (3 years or under) to stay with the parents
  • Please ensure you check with reception in relation to the number of guests we allow in each accommodation type.

Vehicle Speed

The safety of our guests is most important. Please drive at a maximum of 5km/hr (walking pace) whilst on the property & always watch for and pedestrians. All roads within the park are shared by pedestrians and motorists.

Visitors & Driving

  • Registered in-house guests are permitted to have visitors during their stay.  All vehicles and guests must be registered with the Office reception prior to entry and park in the visitor’s carpark. 
  • Visiting hours are between 10am and 8 pm
  • Guests and their visitors may not engage in any illegal activity at any time whilst on the Park’s property.
  • Everyone comply with the 5km/hour speed limit, parking and other traffic regulations on our parks. All vehicles are brought onto the park at their owner’s risk and Town Caravan Park do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to these except where it is caused by our negligence or fault.

Pets

  • Your pet remains your responsibility throughout your stay.
  • Any damages or mess by pets will be charged to the owner.
  • Registered assistance dogs for disabled guests are exempt from these requirements and charges.
  • Pets must be kept on a lead at all times unless in the doggy playpen, with supervision, and you must clean up after your pet. Pets (other than assistance dogs) are not allowed in any of our park facilities.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended
  • If we reasonably believe your pet is causing a nuisance, behaving dangerously or causing damage to the property, you will be required to remove it from the park.  No refunds will be provided.

Children

  • Parents are responsible for their children’s behaviour at all times
  • All children must be under parental supervision while in the swimming pool
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult to the amenities

Pool

  • The pool is for the enjoyment of IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY.
  • There is no lifeguard on duty. Please be considerate of others and observe the Pool Rules. STRICTLY NO GLASS is permitted in the pool/s. 
  • The supervision of children is important for their safety and to ensure they do not disturb other guests in the pool.  
  • Children under the age of 15 years must be under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Camp Kitchen

  • The use of the park’s camp kitchen and barbeque area is permitted between the hours of 7am and 9pm daily. 
  • Please leave the area in a sound, clean and tidy condition. This includes the cleaning of barbeques and cooking equipment following use. 
  • Please consider other guests who will utilise the facilities after you.
  • Children under the age of 15 years must be under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Free WiFi

  • Please understand that due to our location we do not enjoy the internet services found in the city.
  • Good signal strength or speed is not guaranteed

TV Reception

Our accommodation & camp kitchen is connected to Digital TV with access to free to air stations.

Guests with specific needs

Some of villas offer specific accommodation suitable for wheelchairs or those who may have mobility difficulties. However certain accommodation and locations may not be suitable. If your party includes someone with specific requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.

Loss or damage to guest’s property

Town Caravan Park is not liable for any damage or loss to your property and you should take appropriate security measures against theft and loss.

Facilities

Please be aware that occasionally we need to close or withdraw certain facilities (e.g. for safety, maintenance or other reasons beyond our control).

Cancellation or changes by us

  • In exceptional circumstances, we may have to cancel or change some aspects of your booking. If we do so, we will tell you as soon as possible prior to your holiday date and you may choose to either:
  • Accept the changes offered by us
  • Receive a full refund

We do not pay compensation in circumstances where we have to cancel your booking including those arising from Force Majeure.
